Super Bowl Performance

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will perform at the 2009 Super Bowl halftime show, the NFL and NBC announced Sunday night.

Continuing a run of major talent that has lately included the Rolling Stones, U2, Paul McCartney, Prince, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Michael Jackson and, infamously, his sister Janet Jackson, the biggest television event in the nation will showcase one of its most beloved rock 'n' roll artists.

The game will be played Feb. 1 in Tampa, Fla. The show last year was watched by more than 148 million U.S. viewers, the NFL said.

Chubby Checker in 1988 was the first popular musician to perform at halftime.

Vinyl Discs Mania - The Rising Trend of Analogs

Vinyl Discs are steadily climbing the music storage charts to the top, thereby challenging its modern brothers, the DVDs and CDs. Amidst the vinyl discs' waning popularity in the early 90's. The black rounded discs are being bought by teens these days.

Why these teens are doing some vinyl purchases? The answer, lies on the nature of vinyl discs that are a great deal of owning music in physical form. People got tired of digital formats. They wanted to feel the solid features of their records especially the grooves that vinyl discs possessed.

Are DVDs and CDs good enough? They are quite superb than vinyl discs but the question here is that the nostalgic influence of vinyl records since time immemorial creates a great hunger among die hard audiophiles. It is great to know that there are some people in our population loves vinyl records very well.

Vinyl sales will likely be the final nail in CD's coffin. Let's look at the sales of vinyl discs they haven't overtaken cds and dvds but record companies are happy that somehow there is some firm resurgence of demands. Critics told the media that young people are just ignorant on the feeling and sounds of the black discs and are hallucinating to live in the old days. Audiophiles wanted critics to prove them wrong about their opinions on the uptrend. One analyst says the demand is just too superficial to rate as a comeback from coma.

In United Kingdom, people are buying them like beef steaks especially those vinyl music whose size is 7". Reviewers say that though they are analog in format, they still emit a rich sound. It is quite unexpected at first that there are people who would like to have a copy of vinyl records as their physical evidence of the music that they want.

Vinyl discs have the power to be piracy proof because they can't be easily be copied by pirates unlike its digital brothers. It is hard to produce some copies on your own because you need to have tons of mechanical devices to prepare.

CDs have their power to be in cross range formats but it can't be given much credit when it comes to loudness. Vinyl in its superb condition can bring all glass ceiling to thousands of cracks. Thus, they are the best in discos or any public gatherings.

Meanwhile, the digitalization of music has been abused by many people and it is also the cause of the downfall of cds. It looks like the massive sharing over the internet have been a turn off among true blooded audiophiles to stick to vinyl discs because aside from being in original form, the vinyl covers are great artworks. Records collectors will really admire the genuine bearing of these discs.

Paul Potts Made his way to South Wales

Britain's Got Talent star Paul Potts is poised to quit the humble terraced home where he masterminded his rise to fame and move to a new luxury house.

Despite having pots of money these days the millionaire opera sensation has chosen a sprawling south Wales pad just one mile from his former home.

The 37-year-old star will have ample space to sing in the bath. The imposing art deco home, in Port Talbot's Baglan district, boasts a huge jacuzzi bath and other traditional features such as a wood-panelled hallway.

Unveiling the Past of Vinyl Records

As we look into the past we are able to see the awesome rich history of old things like the mysterious turn table. Rocking chairs are also a reminder of the past generations who withstood the test of times. It is also one of the favorite items old people had been buying. It is best to rediscover these simple things because you will learn something from the end.

Take a look on old turn tables, they are made of wood casings and has a needle or stylus that serves as head to read the data over vinyl discs. Thomas Alva Edison made a remarkable simple machine that serves as what he thought of was a record talker but eventually it had been the birth of a gramophone. The first edition of a turn table that had influence the lives of those people from that generation thereby paving the way for our advance storage media of our time the CDs, DVDs, and Blu ray Discs.

People had been admiring music in the past like those primitive cavemen who were playing drums over the stillness of the night during community gatherings. It was also the same during the 1900s that were itching for some form of entertainment. Digital machines were just a dream then. Turn Table or Phonographs had been the most sought after equipment.

People had been planning to put turn tables on automobiles but cassette tapes had replaced them. There was a laser turn table that was on development too but it sent a wrong timing over its introduction because that was the time CDs had been introduced too. Hence, the machine that used to be a Laser Turn Table had been put out of our reach.

Definitely, the times are still reaching for more innovations to come. The past had a rich story about how these old items were discovered or invented. Ideally we should not throw everything under the sun. We should take a good look on these things and see if these can be our treasure.

Heaven knows that your vinyl discs are RARE GRADE. Kindly take a second look.

Undeniably horrible for Vinyl Discs Lovers

Undeniably, Vinyl Records are likable these days but as for environmentally speaking there are a handful of enterprises that profit in making recycled vinyl records. It hurts but who cares about vinyl records if you don’t appreciate it.

A 7 inches vinyl records will dress up an iPod. Imagine, a vinyl discs will dress an ipod? As you can see it is so painful to see records of John Lennon and Tom Jones being trimmed and folded into desirable size that suits the iPod.

Greenpeace, the staunch environmental supporter would really have a big smile on this. But to us vinyl discs lovers it is gross and horrible.

Paul McCartney in Israel: The Beatles Gig That Never Was

Israel is so excited these days because a Beatle will perform in the land of trembling. Sir Paul McCartney arrived in Israel to go ahead on his concert on Thursday. There had been a serious backlash since 43 years ago about the supposed Beatles concert. The Beatles-gig-that-never-was has been hotly debated on chat shows and serious newspapers alike in recent days.

The trouble originated from promoters who are vying to have the Beatles do a concert but competitor promoters are making some black propaganda against the Beatles Band. Mud slinging dirt against the band as the devil’s dog to destroy the morals of Jewish listeners.

Again history will repeat itself, some organizers are planning to sabotage Paul’s concert.

The Israeli press acknowledges that the country's music fans are used to rumours of concerts that never materialise, or apparently confirmed gigs that are later scrapped.

The Isreali government issued an apology to the members off the Beatles Band owing them a missed opportunity.

"We would like to take this opportunity to rectify a historic missed opportunity which unfortunately took place in 1965 when you were invited to Israel," the mass-selling Yediot Aharonot newspaper quoted the letter as saying.

"Unfortunately the state of Israel cancelled your performance in the country due to lack of budget and because several politicians in the Knesset had believed at the time that your performance might corrupt the minds of the Israeli youth."

Sir Paul is just bringing in peace to Israel not another conflict. The Beatles Band had sold a million copies of Vinyl Records up to this day. There are 2 surviving members of Beatles band right now they are Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney.

Vinyl Discs Sales are Increasing Annually

Record companies are issuing more music on vinyl discs exclusively due to the stats that vinyl discs are going to increase more sales. More sales equals more revenues.

In the years to come, both old and new vinyl discs will make a good sell. Today records are making a come back as something people can just sit at home and listen to the crisps and nostalgic sound of vinyl records.

Record companies also are issuing more music on vinyl and even offering an mp3 along with it. That’s something that makes him feel better about the future of the business.

It’s coming back and it’s really coming back.

Death Magnetic by Metallica Sales Increase

On Australian charts Mtallica grab the no.1 spot. The band sold 60,000 copies in just eight days. Their album “Death Magnetic” becomes the fastest-selling album of the year.

Death Magnetic also claimed No.1 in the UK and is expected to top the US charts tomorrow.

As they campaigned their way to fight against pop and hip hop music over the recent years, , the much-anticipated new releases from Metallica and AC/DC signal men with guitars are back in a big way.

The sales explosion has given record labels and music retailers something to smile about for the first time in two years, with Death Magnetic the highest-selling record in one week since Damien Leith's post-Idol compilation The Winner's Journey in December 2006.

Four other Metallica albums were propelled into the ARIA top 50, confirming that a fresh release - the first new record in five years - from the legendary metal act reignites passion for their back catalogue.

And their rock heirs are benefiting from the shift from pop to rock.

‘Death Magnetic’ will sell around 329,000 units this week in America.

The Secret of Vinyl Records' Surge

I am the one who witness the mishap that made vinyl records spinning back on track. My friend who is also an employee of this certain music store had to order a CD-DVD edition of R.E.M.'s latest release “Accelerate”. He had accidentally pushed the LP code. Soon boxes of big vinyl discs showed up at several outlets.

I mean it’s funny because vinyl records are supposed to be obsolete, but 20 LPs sold the first day.

Other mainstream retailers are giving vinyl a spin too. The online seller giant Amazon.com, which has sold vinyl for most of the 13 years it has been in business online, created a special vinyl-only section last fall.

You know the Beatles album “Abbey Road” is always on the best seller. It is not just the nostalgic factor that consumers are attracted on vinyl records it’s also the feeling of better sound than digital forms.

There are more and more people who will likely purchase online or on main stream stores for vinyl records because it surely adds hype these days. I am wondering if vinyl records’ demand will surge more.

I agree that vinyl discs are the best in owning a physical copy of your music.

Vinyl Records For the Die Hard Music Consumer

The return of vinyl records in sales had been impressive to music lovers who had the penchant in collecting any kinds of music. Music at its present form is usually in digital format which is influenced by the present sales of iPod units from Apple and other multimedia player units. These MP3 music players come in different sizes and with different features. The widespread adulation of mp3 format is frowned upon by Die Hard Music Lovers. They are now showing that it is best to own music in the form in which people can hold it dearly and store them in its physical form which they will add the item into their own library of rare vinyl discs.

As you can see, there is an uptrend increase of vinyl disc sales among consumers. The rise starts in 2006-2007, wherein vinyl sales raised more than 36% while CD sales dropped 17% due to the increased of digital downloads.

One of the outstanding features of vinyl records is that they are really original and can't be copied instantly unlike music cds and dvds. Although the sounds that are being transmitted is of analog type, the feeling of playing them is very realistic, because you will really feel the aura and the sense of making one with the music.

Vinyl records will be the model of decreasing music piracy because the mechanism of copying is complicated in this form. Bet your 2 cents on the future of vinyl records they will really be selling like pan cakes again.

How about those rare vinyl records? Their state will be more promising in the distant future. The rarer the better, because they will be the most sought after copy. It would be more expensive if rare vinyl records are being presented to the public such that in auction rounds or in bidding circles. Unopened stocks of vinyl disc would be much more expensive.

It is high time that the once about to die industry of music vinyl records will savor its resurrection in terms of sales and the new awakening from music lovers. The revival is still on its fresh start; just observe the coming months and years. Producers will produce them again. So set your eyes to those things way ahead. Be informed.

Video Games are Hot on Rock Bands

The Guitar Hero game has rock the world with great emphasis on music. The stunning game has hit a high note on $935 million sales with its rival of the same nature, the ROCK Band. The stats show that it is more than $100 million sales against digital music.

It is a great game mind you, because kids like 15-year old Alex can jam with the rock stars like Aerosmith. Actually Alex didn’t know about this band Aerosmith, the game became a bridge for publicity.

Game publishers had a hard time pressing their invitations to High End Rock Bands to include them in the game last year, but the tide had changed. The bands are courting game publishers to include them because it is another avenue for them to market their music.

Kansas' song "Carry on My Wayward Son," more than doubled last year to nearly 300,000 due to the game. In the game, players hit notes in sync with the song to score points that is how th game is played.

In effect, the game designers have become part of the music business.

"And I think more and more over time, people will come to expect to play with the music they love as a core part of how they think about music entertainment," said Alex Rigopulos, co-creator of both Guitar Hero and Rock Band.

Hard Rock Metallica Enter with a Bang

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Hard rock band Metallica, hoping for a rebound in its fortunes after a difficult decade, has topped pop charts around the world with its first album in five years, its Warner Bros. Records label said on Wednesday.

"Death Magnetic," which was released worldwide last Friday, went to No. 1 in the United States and Britain, as well as such countries as Argentina, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, and drummer Lars Ulrich's native Denmark.

Warner Bros. said it expected more No. 1 rankings as charts in other countries are finalized. The Warner Music Group Corp unit handles Metallica in the United States and Canada, while Vivendi SA's Universal Music Group has international rights.

In the United States, "Death Magnetic" sold almost 490,000 copies in the week ended September 14, despite being on sale for only three of those days. Albums are usually released on a Tuesday in the United States and a day earlier everywhere else. But Metallica opted for a Friday street date to make the release a global event.

Its last album, 2003's "St. Anger," released a few days ahead of schedule to combat music piracy, kicked off at No. 1 with 418,000 copies. It was ultimately considered a commercial and critical disappointment, coming on the heels of singer/guitarist James Hetfield's lengthy rehab stint, the departure of bass player Jason Newsted, and a fan backlash against Ulrich's loud condemnations of music piracy. The band's near demise during this period is immortalized in the documentary "Some Kind of Monster."

"Death Magnetic" ranks as one of the biggest chart-toppers of the year in the United States. Only albums by rapper Lil Wayne, British rock band Coldplay and teen idols the Jonas Brothers have done better. It also makes Metallica the only band in chart history to have five albums debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, according to Warner Bros. They were previously tied with the Beatles, U2 and the Dave Matthews Band.

Metallica will begin the first leg of a North American tour near Phoenix, Ariz., on October 21.

Rick Spring Field Vinyl Discs For Sale @ $12.60

This man is a bonafide artists. He has great guts on his shoulders. His music sounds much better than I remember.

The songs are definitely aimed at the teenage market: "Jessie's Girl," "I've Done Everything for You," and "What Kind of Fool am I" deal with teenage love and heartbreak with emotional clarity and classic pop tunefulness. After I played this CD once, I was singing "Jessie's Girl," "Don't Talk to Strangers," and "What Kind of Fool am I" for weeks. Especially the latter song.

If you liked the catchier music of the early 1980's, then you couldn't go wrong picking this vinyl records up.

Why to Go Rare on Purchasing Rare Vinyl Records?

Who says Vinyls are just plain old trashed items not good to play but pretty too good to be burned on the furnace? You are damned right , but take a look at the four letters that fits to describe these old vinyls. RARE, the word that simply gives you the difference. Spell it out again it is RARE, a unique item that will someday garner some value.

Try to look at Prince Charles and Princess Diana's wedding cake, a preserved slice of the cake was auctioned at 1,200 pounds. This is just a cake from famous celebrities. How about the rarest vinyls up to date, would money give in, well, there is nothing bad to try these rare vinyls? I think it is not just a good investment it would also be a good heirloom to our kids or grand kids. Baseball trading cards is ridiculously so expensive, I mean the rare type. One such example is to look at the Honus Wagner trading card formerly owned by Hockey Star Wayne Gretzky whom he sold it again to a private collector for 2.8 million dollars. He once bought it for 2.3 million, hence his investment gave a nice amount of money

The same thing is true with rare vinyls. So you might actually want to try it out but these rare vinyls are very delicate, so an extra care should be rendered to preserve the complete state of your vinyls if you made up your mind.

People would buy rare vinyls not only for monetary purposes that one can get. People who grew up from older generations wanted to reminiscence the past. The Music will bring back cherish memories even old time smells of your old house, the living room, and etc. So it brings or resurrects all the senses of an individual's past. So make it a point that every individual has its own goal or purpose on buying rare vinyls.

Finally, a question that lingers on our mind right now, why so rare or why we go rare? The answer probably lies on our hearts. Is it for fun, monetary gains, for the lost memories, to purchase as presents to old love ones, and etc. Go rare now or collect hard to find vinyls by using the Internet today.

Physical Music Vinyl Records are the Best

Vinyl Discs are having a great time in dealing with the audiophiles because they satisfy their cravings on what audiophiles perceived as real music because these vinyl discs are best to hear in that platform. Technically, other music gurus are mentioning that digital formats are the best but oldies need not to throw away their vinyl discs because they love it and they can feel that owning music in physical form is best manifested by Vinyl Discs.

Recycled Vinyl Records

We are created all equal but we have different perceptions on things that we would like to perceive. Look at what other people do to our beloved vinyl records. They simply create them as an art. But others really break our hearts out.

Cool art isn't it? They are great and your beloved vinyls are still playable.

How about this one? Danger! not suited for the faint hearted people.

Vinyl Silhouette Cut-Outs are fabulous but it is very much costly for vinyl lovers like me and you. Watching the process of making these silhouette cut outs would break your heart into smithereens.

I 'll give you a bigger picture.

It's so painful to see these things being cut down into useless objects.

Vinyl Bowls vary in shapes and sizes and they are cool to see. But it's disheartening to know that your precious gems or golden records will become ash bins from cigarettes or bowls for finger foods.

Is there some music over these silly things?

Vinyl records being kick by iPods, they became protective cases for these digitized players. Simply means they are super carrying cases with notable middle hole fit for iPod units.

Come out and play folks. These recycled vinyl discs are being calibrated to be use for other purposes.

To all vinyl fans out there, we are hurt by these things, but we can tell these manufacturers that only touch those useless vinyl records such as factory defect ones, destroyed vinyl discs, or unplayable vinyl records.

Carlos Santana on His Religious Outpuoring

Carlos Santana the “Poor boy” from Tijuana made a remarkable announcement that music is much like a Religion to him. He told the media that music is not plastic, religion and politics are muddled with profanities. The artist with in him shows his coolness as the world is getting worst.

The 61 year old music legend even added that Rock and Roll are like liturgies. He is a though nut to understand how he perceived natural things because he is more than the music itself. His album the Inner light is also the theme of Multi Dimensional Warrior, a two-disc compilation of lesser-known songs from 1970-2002. The album comes out Sept. 30. Available in vinyl records too.

"Ain't no doubt about it, it's a spiritual CD," he says by phone from his office near San Francisco.

The man has a lot of mystery in him and he even bragged about hearing lots of voices. He talks to his personal angel, Metatron for personal guidance. Today, he says he speaks to Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan, who've been dead for years. He also consults daily with the late jazz legends Miles Davis and John Coltrane.

Totally an incredible guy, isn’t it?

Try Listening to Music to Lose Weight

Obsession about Music is all about the appreciation of its tunes, beats, the lyrics, and the hums. Music relaxes the whole sense and shows a great moment of relaxation. Going with the beat of the drums your body will attune to its sound. As the beat goes on and on you will surely feel the groove and dance your way out. Again, you will find yourself enjoying the tremendous sound of music.

The sound of music will come to life and be of good use to you, assuming that you want to get fit and be slim. You can use Dance music to exercise. Dancing along with a nice tune sets your nerves in groove to move your body.

Show your style and make way on the dance floor. Activating your body to the sound of the beats and expressively coordinate your legs, hips, arms, hands, and your head will produce more sweat. The more sweat, the more calories are being burned.

Every beat motivates your mind to move the way you want. If you are a gifted dancer you have the ability to gyrate, jumped, swirl, and etc. Many hip hop dancers have a contagious energy that will boost your mind to mimic their movements. They are truly amazing as the beat or tempo increases their body movements also increased. They even do the hand stand if they desire to do so or even somersault if the timing is right.

So dancing makes you fit and slim. To those couch potatoes you have to move and dance a little bit to burn those extra fats on your body. It is not good to store those fats, better to take them off, if you wanted to have a good life. You can have a life if you are obese but chances are it would not be good because you will get sick. In simple terms, you will get diabetes, cancer, heart problems, joint problems, and etc.

Just try hard to make a move, stepping a little over here or there will make good efforts. Take note, that music has been a good source of communal unity. In Prehistoric times tribes have to dance during the night to celebrate the harvest of the day. Thus, music has been very much a part of our lives. So it is a challenge that let dance music be a part of your lives too. It has been a daily activity by your ancestors in the past but how come you disregard the power of music to make you slim, fit, and healthy.

Rare Vinyl Records- The Glooming Gold

The invention of the turn tables paves the way to global music madness. The whole extent of the world was saturated with music from many nations, particularly US artists who had helped solidify the Vinyl Record Craze.

In the advent of World War 2, music was much sought comfort of the Allies and even the Axis powers. American singers went to war camps to boost the morale of the fighting soldiers who had missed much of their home. Their malady was temporarily cured by the soothing sound of music coming from vinyl record discs.

The sensational White Christmas Song, sung by Bing Crosby himself shook the nerves of Americans from overseas. As we reminisced the times, Bing Crosby was unrivaled of command of record sales, radio ratings, and motion picture demands. He is the most electronically recorded voice on the history of modern music. One of the contributing materials that pave the way to popularize his songs is through the popularity of Vinyl Records.

Fast forward, in our modern times, the Compact Disc, Mp3, DVD, Blue Ray, and etc are the newest media that we are enjoying right now. They are once thought to kill the magnificence of Vinyl Discs but the trend reverses the tide. People, especially those who are music enthusiasts are beaming with pride that the music albums must be in material form not in bits and bytes.

Digitalized music gives us the convenience that we never had imagined before. Its operation is as simple as click and play sort of maneuver. Unlike, vinyl discs you have to consider a lot of things in order to hear them properly or else you will hear skips and screeches.

Wider music artists and musicians feel a sense of pride in publishing their work of art into Vinyl discs media not matter how lowly are these vinyl records but they simply show a nostalgic feel, originality, and undisputed benchmark image.

Vinyl Record Collectors as of now are looking for rare beauties that are projected as a "GLOOMING GOLD". The rarer, the better, because it sports a nice value on it, regardless of the artists as long as it is the most extinct object that we could ever think of. Vinyl records as noted by people as notably unmatchable to the CDs or any form of digital media.

It is a bold move among true music fans that rare vinyl records hold the greatest artifact of carrying the original crisp sound of the performer.
