Britney Spears Earned A Standing Ovation

Britney Spears got a clean slate on her recent performance on the current MTV video awards. She won al three awards that she was nominated including the top honour video of the year - with the clip for her defiant dance tune "Piece of Me." Hope that there are some vinyl records for that tune.

"Wow, thank you, I'm in shock right now. I was not expecting this," she said at the end of the night as she accepted the shiny Moonman statue for video of the year. "This is such an honour to have this award right now."

She was wearing a glittering silver dress that hugged her curves and her hair in soft blond waves. At the stage, she humbly told the audience about her inspirations and politely thanking God, her children and her record label before quickly leaving the stage.

From that humble speech she earned the standing ovation of artists and guests on the hall. This might be her great comeback after tumultuous career wanderings last year.
