Compact Discs Disadvantage over Vinyl Records

In this age of Ipods and mp3 players the favorite of indie music collectors and audiophiles possess something that is bulky and very black in appearance. This once popular music storage medium will re-enter into the mainstream as the candidate for mainly competing with the digital downloads.

The major obstacle for vinyl records to fully enjoy all out consumer’s support is that it should be able to put a final nail to compact discs’ coffin. As you can see vinyl records despite of its old style, bulky, and analog characterization. It still has the sonic advantage over music CD’s and DVD’s due to the compression specs of these formats. If you listen carefully guitars sounded like ordinary strings, cymbals is much the same as broken glasses.

So there is really some strange disadvantages of compact discs or digital formats. In short everything that compact discs captures is intentionally louder to meet the hearing threshold on humans but basically all instruments are no longer have a specified tuning because everything is loud. If you are going to compare the blending from vinyl records , it seems the obvious winner are the black discs.

You can see the difference between them just by remembering that analog is for vinyl records and digital is for compact discs.
