EMI Records Falling Revenues

EMI is going southwards as one of the Earth's four major labels left alive. In truth, EMI might have asked for it, after allowing a private equity group led by Guy Hands to buy the venerable music company in 2007 and scare off its most legendary artists such as Radiohead, Paul McCartney, and the Rolling Stones.

They’ve lost a big sum of money because new ways of music entrepreneurship had killed their clout on the market.

They still have more poison but not on investing on present day record albums but to those albums who were once a record hit in the past. There is really a trend that captivates many people especially baby boomers. To sum it all up, the trend is going steady for vinyl records to be once again resurface on the music scene.
