Brian May Not Aware of Freddie Mercury's Sexuality

Doctor Brian May as we now called him to be as of now, because he had just earned his Ph.D in Physics, out from his own hard work and dedication. It was almost as completed in the 70’s but he had a different priority at that time. He was quite enjoying rocking and doing concerts with his band mates in The Queen, along with Freddie Mercury (deceased), Roger Taylor, and John Deacon.

One thing for sure, he wasn’t sure that Freddie Mercury was gay at that time because Freddie boasted a lot of girlfriends at that time. He was really unaware that Freddy was gay.

-- yet he was virtually clueless about the flamboyant singer's homosexuality because he had a number of girlfriends.

"No, I didn't know. I don't think even he was fully cognizant in the beginning," May told British newspaper The Daily Express. "You're talking to someone who shared rooms with Fred on the first couple of tours, so I knew him pretty well.

"I know that all through his life Fred didn't think that whether he was gay or not was important," May concluded. "He loved music, he love his work, and he didn't want anything to get in the way. Anyone who portrays Fred as purely a gay story is missing a lot of the point."
