The Reasons Why Vinyl Records Survive Till Now

A lot of people are so happy on their new found love of vinyl collecting. As you can see even young as 18 years old have the penchant to collect vinyl records. It is just normal for them but to us old people somehow we are curious why these kids are going back to analog sound recordings. Isn’t IPods and other digital gizmo’s are enough?

I think vinyls had attracted them to collect because it is either of vinyls monetary value, sentimentality, or they are really collecting them because vinyl records are warm sounding media storage. Think of the CDs which are packaged into great bytes of digital ones and zeros but the sound that CDs emitted are nasty dead ones. You won’t distinguish the breathing movement of each musical instrument on CDs because they are compressed in a not so nice manner.

Actually, the compression rates are the culprit here. Vinyl records are better because of their analog type of registering any sound. If it is an analog it simply means they pick up even the slightest detail that a microphone hears. The breathing of the vocalists, the fresh tinged of the guitar, and many more. In Analog too there are the distinct sound differences among musical instruments.

The demise of Vinyl records dates back in the 90’s where CDs are predominantly the in thing on that time. However, in the long run Vinyl records are really getting a nod that vinyls are better sounding than CDs. This made the youngsters tremendously love the vinyl records album.
This not a cheesy fad that others thought about vinyl records is really here to stay with us.
