What is there in new age music? New age is not the usual type of music that you will encounter on every music hall it seems to me that new age is just an old age music that has been revive and just making it new like what we always hear about New World Order. It is really bizaare to think about the things that how new age music had been doing well in the music landscape.
The legendary Jazz Drummer Jack DeJohnette had earned the 2009 Grammy for Best New Age Album. The drummer icon is essentially had mastered the nearly every type of jazz and pop forms. New age had been hardly come by as a nice music because it sounds like the best music for you to fall asleep. So slow and full of relaxation qualities and it gathers a simplified stream of simple music. Instruments that are very archaic and some are modern. Actually it is really enchanting.
As for the legend, Jack DeJohnette had produce a wonderful New Age album called “Peace Time”, the album for which DeJohnette won his new age Grammy sounds like a cross from the Australian outback, a walk on the moon, and Jerry Glodsmith soundtrack. Basically, very similar with Enya but has a soothing work. Common, it’s “Peacetime”.
