Vinyl: Not just for the days of black & white

Rising technology is starting to phase CDs out of the market.

With MP3s and the ability to share music over the Internet, people are buying fewer CDs, and the music industry is feeling the burn. While this might look like a bleak and unsteady future, vinyl records are coming back in a major way.

Junior Alex Bettis said he's loved records since he was young.

"I've loved records for a long time, and I constantly look to expand my collection," Bettis said. "They sound better, you can boast about what you have and listen to the classics in a cooler fashion than just an iPod."
