These vinyls as a music medium has been around for many years but died a natural death in the 90s ere when CDs became the standard in playing music. Now, it happens that another standard is being favored by people, the mp3 format. It is likely an apt statement that vinyl records are already dead but take a look on it. They are still around and having been making a lot of sales from the year 2006 and up to the present. According to the numbers, vinyl records went from selling 990,000 units in 2007 to a record 1.88 million units in 2008. Hardware makers of vinyl discs will really be happy about doing business like selling turn tables and even needles of these equipments. Among the most groups who will profit on these records are the manufacturers of plastics, chemical companies, art people who will do the design on the sleeves, music artists, and labels. All in all the avenues on making vinyls are in good shape and money will just revolving around if there is a high demand of vinyl discs. It is celebrated that these vinyls will still be here for us to deliver good music.
